Campus Focus has a simple heartbeat: connect people to God. Whatever your background, worldview or experience may be, our desire is that you would find CF to be a safe, welcoming place where you can ask difficult questions about life and faith and, ultimately, come to know Jesus and know Him more.
Thursday nights are our central meeting times centered around connection, teaching and worship through music. Everything else we do branches out from this time together.
Who normally attends?
Campus Focus is designed specifically for and with college-age individuals in mind. Whether you’re a student at the University of Akron right across the street, a student at another area college or university or someone who went straight into the workforce right out of high school, you’re welcome to join us!
All CF events are open to anyone who is interested in learning more about Jesus regardless of your current beliefs.

Where and when do you meet?
Campus Focus meets at The Chapel in Akron every Thursday night at 7:30pm in the Auditorium (at the corner of Buchtel and Fir Hill). We also have small groups that meet throughout the week (in the evenings) in a variety of locations. Small groups are a way to make our normal Thursday night crowd feel smaller through more personal connection as we take a deeper dive into what’s being taught on Thursday nights together.
The Chapel is located at 135 Fir Hill, Akron, across the street from The University of Akron. So, if you live on campus, you probably don’t even have to drive! If you’re driving, there are several options to choose from. We have two parking lots located off Fir Hill St. across from each other (one asphalt and one gravel). All parking is free during service hours.
